Fundraising events for 2004-2005
Gale Fulton Ross, Artist and Fayanne Hayes, Artist and Project Director are collaborating on a traveling exhibition titled: "Encounters, Gazes and Stereotypes." This exhibition deals with the phenomenon of human bias.
Among the artists featured in the exhibition is Gregory Rumph, a graduate of Ringling School of Art and Design and teacher at Booker Elementary School, Sarasota.
This show will have its first kick-off exhibition at The Family Heritage House on the campus of Manatee Community College. The Family Heritage House is the repository of historical contributions made by Black Americans to American culture.

A percentage of the proceeds from sales and fees derived from this exhibition will benetit The Fulton Ross Fund For Visual Artists, Inc.and The Family Heritage House. Both organizations are registered in the state of Florida as non-profit 501c3 corporations.
Artist Gale Fulton Ross is currently preparing new work for her traveling solo exhibition titled: "Ain't I A Woman, Too?" which opens on March 13th at the African American Attelier on the campus of Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina.
This exhibit celebrates the heart and spirit of working-class Black Women. The show features 60 new watercolors, drawings and paintings by Fulton Ross. Artist Fulton Ross is donating 100% of all sales and fees derived from this exhibtion to The Fulton Ross Fund For Visual Artists, Inc.
"In The Swim" is a catalogue of swimwear designed by artists. Curator, Lecturer and author, Mark Ormond will invite artists from around the state of Florida to design swim wear in their chosen medium. The catalogue will feature swim wear as scuplture, as paintings on canvas, watercolor and mixed-media as well as photography and digital art. "In the Swim" is scheduled for release in April/May 2005 and will feature 30 to 40 artists and their work. 100% of all sales of this catalogue will benefit the programs of The Fulton Ross Fund For Visual Artists, Inc.
